What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Customer Service position at CityLink?
CityLink is looking for the ideal candidate who likes assisting and serving the community of Abilene.
Primary duties are to answer the phone, coordinate dispatching, and scheduling activities for CityLink’s operators.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service with phone inquiries, schedules, fares, and/or other information
- Assist drivers with directions, road calls, emergencies, accidents, equipment checks, schedule changes, and procedures
- Must be able to prioritize responsibilities when it comes to interaction with the radio, customers, and drivers
- Maintain good customer service with the community
- Follow company procedures
- Attend monthly safety meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Computer Skills
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Pass a drug test
This position will be about 32 hours a week.

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
