CityLink is looking to fill Part-Time Evening Driver vacancies. Potential operators must have a willingness to provide public transportation services to the Abilene Community in a safe, courteous, and professional manner. Potential employees must have a willingness to assist the Abilene community with an emphasis on customer service and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transports passengers
- Performs pre and post-trips
- Carry out assigned route/schedule on time
- Maintain good customer service with the community
- Obey traffic laws
- Shift will be 5:45 p.m.-12:00 a.m. (part-time) Monday - Saturday (A minimum of 2 Saturdays a month is required)
Requirements/Skills:
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Excellent communication skills
- Pass a drug test
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries/pickups
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers
- Ability to work independently and follow specific routes and schedules
