What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paratransit Van Driver position at CityLink?
We are looking for individuals who love working with the public and enjoy being out in the community.
The ideal candidate would like to be around people and driving for the community of Abilene. Drivers typically work without direct supervision and are fully responsible for the safety and satisfaction of their passengers. Drivers follow precise routes/schedules and must adjust their driving according to traffic and weather conditions in order to arrive at each stop/location at the designated time.
Responsibilities
· Safely transports passengers
· Performs pre and post trips
· Carry out assigned route/schedule on time
· Assists in securing individuals with mobility devices
· Maintain a good customer service with the community
· Obey traffic laws
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED preferred
· Must be able to pass a DOT physical
· Clean driving record
· Excellent communication skills
· Pass a drug test
