JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision performs accounting clerical duties which require knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process grant financial reports, coordinate grant sub-recipient expenditures and reimbursements. Ability to maintain grant spreadsheets, files, and grant records management by uploading to GMS.
- Process journal voucher entries and reconcile various funds and accounts. Ability to provide timely and accurate reporting of financial activities.
- Reconcile, reimburse, and provide petty cash advances.
- Assist in the management of various administrative functions including but not limited to payroll, office operations and records management.
- Responsible for back-up responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator position.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work and navigate proficiently with a variety of computer software programs, such as, Microsoft: Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, Quicken, etc.
- Work effectively with the public and city staff to address inquiries for information.
