Cityside Fiber is seeking a motivated Construction Manager - Fiber to join our our Construction Division (CFN CX) team. This role is responsible for managing aerial and underground fiber construction projects from design through completion and plays a key part in ensuring projects meet quality, timeline and budget requirements. This individual has a thorough knowledge of all issues related to local and state permitting, pole and conduit licensing procedures from Utilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Success in this position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and contractor oversight, strong organizational abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of fiber construction projects (OSP/ISP, aerial/underground)
- Develop bid packages and competitively select subcontractors
- Oversee permitting, licensing and coordination with local/state agencies
- Manage construction schedules, budgets and vendor performance
- Conduct constructability reviews and maintain project tracking systems
- Order and track delivery of third-party materials
- Serve as safety observer and quality assurance representative
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot onsite issues and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with all construction standards and regulations
- Contribute to a culture of trust, integrity and collaboration
- Understand and uphold Cityside Fiber's core purpose and values
- Associate degree or equivalent or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in telecommunications construction management
- Valid California driver's license
- Knowledge of OSP construction techniques and ROW requirements
- Familiarity with CA GO95, GO128, NESC, NEC and OSHA standards
- Strong project management and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to travel 50-90% to project sites
- PMP certification a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

- $53/hr. (Actual starting rate may vary based on candidate’s qualifications)
