About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Operations Coordinator to be an important part of our team. The Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the technicians, field support team, and the Sr. Field Operations Manager. This position will review documentation of closeout activities and quality control measures both internally and of third-party vendors, manage task escalations and other special projects, and coordinate invoicing and materials ordering. This opportunity sits within Cityside Fiber’s Field Operations department. The Field Operations team is responsible for new customer installations, including drops, customer premises and equipment, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, cleanup, and quality control. The objective of this position is to provide critical back-office support to these daily field activities. To be successful in this role you will have an incredible sense of organization and attention to detail, strong project management skills, and a dogged sense of responsibility and ownership of the task at hand. You will operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment and excel in hitting the Company’s objectives. To be successful you will have superior communication and organizational skills.

Compensation
Starting at $25/hr. (Actual starting rate may vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and years of experience).

Responsibilities
- Understand Cityside Fiber’s core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
- Review and process work order closeout packages to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality of consultations and drops.
- Assign or advance drop, quality control, and maintenance activities into the dispatch queue with notes and details for distribution and schedule adjustment.
- Manage the resolution process of incomplete field activities through the rescheduling step, by tracking and communicating updates to the necessary parties.
- Complete 811 utility ticket submissions for completed pre-drop activities each day.
- Complete end-of-day reports and perform remote install activations as required for end of day work orders.
- Regularly review materials and customer equipment inventories, and place orders as required.
- Review and approve PO requests from contractors and vendors in accordance with completed work packages.
- Assist with administrative preparation and reporting for various meetings.
- Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of Cityside Fiber.
- High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a telecom or technology company or related field.
- Experience communicating to and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven history of excellent customer service and ability to build relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to multi-task and be highly responsive to internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated intense customer focus.
- Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty and strong work ethic.
- Takes initiative. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis.
- Proven history of managing logistical operations or high-volume daily activity, while operating calmly under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of the internet service provider space
- Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful.
- Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
- Strong team player acts like an owner and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.
- Incredibly strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel (proficiency with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables ideal). Power BI is a plus.
