About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Plant Project Manager to be an important part of our team. The OSP Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, budget oversight, implementing network design, permitting, regulatory compliance coordination, construction scheduling, construction implementation, and facilitating asset management. This opportunity sits within Cityside Fiber’s OSP Engineering & Construction Department. The objective of this position is to . Compensation
Starting at $105,000 annually (actual starting rate may vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and years of experience).

Responsibilities
- Understand Cityside Fiber’s core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to activities
- Review the project schedule with internal partners as necessary; revise the schedule as required
- Maintain effective dialog with Construction Managers regarding the planning and scheduling of resources
- Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the project
- Demonstrate a team focus, providing leadership, support and adherence to sound business practices
- Execute the project according to the project plan
- Use forms, systems, and records to document project progress and ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
- Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project
- Establish a communication schedule to update internal and external partners
- Regularly review the quality of the work completed with the project team to ensure that it meets Cityside standards
- Provide effective management of labor, materials, and equipment resources, controlling costs within budget guidelines
- Ensure proper communication and outreach to jurisdictions or agencies having authoritu.
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity, ensuring projects meet or exceed budgeted financial objectives with early and consistent communication of risk to leadership
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures
- Ensure that the project deliverables are delivered within schedule and budget at the required level of quality
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase; lead debrief on completed projects to identify lessons learned
- Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate close-out documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents and other external parties impacted by construction
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and personal initiative in decision making
- Update tracking system(s) to ensure that project status is accurately maintained
- Create and distribute correspondence relevant to internal and external partners
- Communicate issues to management prior to reaching critical status
- Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of Cityside Fiber.
- High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of Telecommunications experience.
- PMP certification preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years in a general business environment with project management experience.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel), Adobe and widely used project management software tools.
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building fiber infrastructure and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
- Advanced knowledge of Public and Private right of way project deployment, including regulatory and permitting processes.
- Experience communicating to and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven history to learn a variety of tracking and project management software
- Proven history of excellent customer service and ability to build relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to multi-task and be highly responsive to internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated intense customer focus.
- Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty and strong work ethic.
- Takes initiative. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis.
- Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful.
