What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian - Cibolo Crossing position at CityVet?
CityVet Cibolo Crossing is searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join the team at our growing practice. We are a full-service General Practice clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Veterinarian’s role in the Clinic is a position of leadership, trust, and respect and shall conduct themselves accordingly
- Promote the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience
- Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted timeframes
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working. If licensed in another state, we will pay state testing and licensing fees.
- Comfortable with most common surgeries and procedures in General Practice/Urgent Practice, including soft tissue surgery, laceration repair, unblocking cats, dentistry, etc. Hands-on mentoring always available.
- Autonomy – Dr. Chip Cannon created CityVet with the vision of giving veterinarians their rightful opportunity to practice medicine their way. He believes that vets should have control over their business and schedule and the ability to hire their staff. Additionally, he believes that veterinarians will take care of their staff and clients if they can enjoy the perks of ownership profits. His philosophy is reflected in every aspect of CityVet, and as such, we have cultivated a company full of incredible veterinary professionals. Keeping our belief in full medical autonomy, our DVMs also practice their passion. For example, some practice exclusively small animal, while others dabble in mixed animal, exotics, and acupuncture. There are no quotas or manuals you must follow – just lots of hands-on experience with mentors to guide your development.
