JOB SUMMARY
The IT Support Technician is a technically minded project coordinator and IT support specialist responsible for managing multiple IT projects simultaneously. This role plays a key part in supporting existing clinics while also facilitating and driving CityVet’s expansion and growth. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for successfully managing IT operations across multiple locations.
This position collaborates closely with the Technology Team, vendors, interdepartmental stakeholders, and IT Leadership to develop and implement solutions for technology-related issues, inquiries, and projects. The IT Support Technician has a significant impact on both the day-to-day functionality of IT systems and long-term growth initiatives. This role is based at our Home Office in Dallas with flexibility to work-from-home on designated days.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Serve as the primary IT contact for troubleshooting tickets submitted through the company’s ticketing system, addressing technical issues at various locations.
- Provide remote technical support via phone and virtual channels for nearly 60 locations across multiple markets, including assistance with desktops, phones, software, websites, and proprietary applications.
- Assist with project coordination by managing assigned tasks, organizing initiatives, and ensuring timely completion of department projects.
- Support testing and quality control for proprietary software, internal systems, and external vendor applications to ensure optimal functionality and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership to support overall team goals and contribute to the organization’s technology initiatives.
- Assist with the deployment and technical setup of new clinic locations as needed.
- Be available for occasional after-hours and weekend support for urgent issues or project-related work.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Extremely detail oriented with strong project management, timeline, and reporting skills

Experience with quality assurance of technical processes and procedures
Extremely web, internet, and “app” savvy
Knowledge of IT networking, IP structure, web, systems architecture, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS (DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)
Linux/UNIX systems administration experience (installation and support)
Firewall and VPN administration and support
REQUIREMENTS
1 years’ experience working with technology and project management.
Reliable transportation for travel to and from Home Office
Ability to lift 50 lbs. to waist height occasionally
Occasional bending, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching
At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
