POSITION SUMMARY
The LDF Portfolio Manager position will play a key role in the closing and servicing of all CityWide loan programs while working closely with the Vice President of Housing & Economic Development Services and Business Development Officers to create a smooth end-to-end process for CityWide’s borrowers and third-party lenders.
Key Position Responsibilities:
Loan Servicing
- Create and maintain loan files in accordance with loan program and audit guidelines.
- Manage maturing loans and renewals.
- Responsible for annual collection and tracking of financial statements, insurance, real estate taxes, and jobs reporting.
- Collaborate with borrowers, lenders, the SBA, and other third parties to efficiently respond to requests for subordinations, collateral changes, and other related requests.
- Perform annual site visits on all Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan customers.
Loan Origination and Closing
- Assist Business Development Officers with Ventures document storage.
- Assist V.P. with preparing spreads in Ventures.
- Assist V.P. with loan document creation and closings.
- Review new loan files for accuracy and completeness. Scan and upload all documents into the company share drive.
Other duties as assigned
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred or high school diploma with relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in commercial lending administration or commercial credit analysis.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Autonomy to balance independent work with limited guidance and complete collaborative work with team members.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Requirements:
- Complete and pass all background checks and clearances.
- Provide a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- This position requires an in-office schedule of at least four days a week.
