The House Manager is a vital part of the residential services that Citywide provides to our SUD clients. As a House Manager you will be responsible for the following duties :
Ensure efficient and effective operations
Dual Diagnosis clients mental / substance abuse
Medication Management
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the individuals being supported
Provide supervision and support needed to assure that each residence presents a clean, neat and safe environment, this includes, but is not limit to assuring that the residence will pass safety and environmental inspections.
Provide live-in supervision to sober living residents
Monitor client recovery activities
Supervise clientele in assignment of duties that contributes to upkeep of the living space
Must have a deep understanding and appreciation for a recovery lifestyle.
Enforce expectations and guidelines
Facilitate new resident intake procedures, as well as discharge procedures as needed.
Facilitate regular house meetings to foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative environment, addressing housekeeping issues, community concerns, and other issues that may come up.
Efficiently handle complaints, settle disputes, resolving grievances, conflicts, and other mediation.
Strong observant skills to know when a client is in danger or need help.
