About The Role

As a Field Trainer & Support Specialist , you will be responsible for training customers on the operation, maintenance, and best practices of our robotic systems. You will conduct on-site and remote training sessions, assist with technical troubleshooting, and ensure customers can maximize the benefits of our technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge robotics in the field, engage directly with customers, and play a key role in the success of Civ Robotics’ deployments. You’ll have the chance to travel internationally and across the U.S., delivering training and technical support to some of the world’s leading construction companies.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for customers, ensuring they can efficiently operate our robotic systems.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to train clients on hardware setup, calibration, and best-use practices.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and real-time diagnostics to help customers resolve issues quickly.
  • Develop and improve training materials, including manuals, videos, and presentations.
  • Assist in robot setup, calibration, and testing at customer sites.
  • Work closely with customer success, support, and engineering teams to relay feedback and enhance user experience.
  • Maintain detailed training documentation and customer support logs.
  • Ensure customers adopt best practices to maximize robot accuracy and performance.
  • Follow up post-training to address any concerns and ensure successful implementation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical background in robotics, surveying, construction tech, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills – ability to explain complex topics in a simple, engaging way.
  • Experience with RTK, GPS, or robotic automation (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills – ability to diagnose and resolve field issues.
  • Customer-focused mindset – ability to build relationships and ensure user success.
  • Comfortable working in construction site environments and adapting to field conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (~50-75% of the time).
  • Experience in creating training content (videos, documentation, webinars) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus but not required.
