We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our Facilities team at our luxury wellness resort in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for our guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform regular inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient system operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Monitor and adjust building automation systems to optimize comfort and energy efficiency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Collaborate with other departments to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC systems.
Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in HVAC / R preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation systems.
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physical demands of the job.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a hospitality or resort setting.
Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices.
