Job Title: CMM Application Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Application Engineer to support the sales and effective use of our products. This role will involve providing expert software demonstrations, technical support, and guidance to customers. The Application Engineer will collaborate closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure optimal software usage and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support & Technical Guidance:
- Analyze customer needs related to PMI, CMM, Form, and QV/QS products. Recommend best practices and assist customers in configuring software parameters for optimal performance.
- Software Demonstrations & Training:
- Lead software demonstrations, provide user training, and answer technical queries from customers and internal staff to enhance understanding and usage of our products.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:
- Assist customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving software issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with distributor personnel during customer-facing sales calls to highlight the value and functionality of our products.
- Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:
- Stay current with product updates, industry trends, and competitor activities. Participate in ongoing product knowledge training sessions and share insights with the team.
- Reporting & Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and submit necessary reports in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records in the Customer Management Tool (CRM) as directed.
- Trade Shows & Events:
- Attend and represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events to promote products and gather customer feedback.
- Sales Training & Collaboration:
- Participate in regional meetings, sales training sessions, and collaborative efforts with the sales team to continually improve customer engagement and product knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of 2 years of college or specialized technical training. Additional certifications or training in related fields is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical support or application engineering role, with a strong understanding of software products and customer service.
- Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 50% travel, with occasional extended driving (up to 5 hours at a time).
Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: The role requires occasional mobility within the office and showroom floor, as well as the use of equipment to troubleshoot and create customer solutions.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
