Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Drive growth by identifying and pursuing new commercial business opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to expand client portfolios.
- Re-Marketing: Partner closely with clients to ensure smooth policy renewals, while securing competitive pricing and optimal coverage options.
- Client Management: Manage and service a select book of business, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to proactively address client needs, resolve issues, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed on insurance market trends, regulatory changes, and evolving coverage options to provide clients with expert guidance and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer's License in Louisiana (LA).
- Preferred Certifications: CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation or similar industry certification is a plus.
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management software is preferred.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams professionally and with poise.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving client issues.
