Job Title : Instrumentation and Electrical Technician
Job Location : Nekoosa, WI
Job Summary :
Maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems including distributed control systems (DCS), high voltage rectifiers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors and motor control systems including variable frequency drives (VFDs), field process measurement devices (control valves, pH & ORP probes, temperature elements, pressure elements, level gauges, etc). Maintain electrical and instrument loop drawings. Conduct interlock checks. Specify and procure repair materials and equipment for new and modified installations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform preventative and repair maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation throughout the plant (preventative techniques may include thermography, vibration analysis, etc.
- Conduct electrical and instrument troubleshooting and repairs on assigned equipment
- Specify, install and calibrate new electrical and instrumentation included in plant upgrades and modifications
- Conduct safety interlock checks on a prescribed frequency; Update electrical and instrument loop drawings as required
- Manage relevant Work Orders in the CMMS in support of PM compliance (timely completion / closure, etc.)
- Update maintenance files, drawings, and documentation. Ordering and control of repair materials
