Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment and processes meet safety standards, government regulations, and corporate policies.
- Lead and guide process designs to meet sanitary standards and business requirements.
- Provide expertise in electrical design for components, equipment, and processes, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and asset management.
- Lead initiatives for safety, quality, and cost improvement across global operations.
- Participate in developing new processes and enhancing existing ones to support business goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key equipment suppliers to gain a technical advantage.
- Assist in budget processes, project justifications, and capital project management.
- Work with purchasing to specify equipment needs, resolve part issues, and achieve cost savings with vendors.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Engineer III: Bachelors in electrical engineering with 7 years of industry experience, OR 10 years of relevant experience with lesser education.
- Engineer II: Bachelors in electrical engineering or equivalent with 3 years of experience, OR 6 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Electrical Codes, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
- Strong skills in PLC, servo, and robotic equipment design (Robotics and vision systems), with knowledge of Rockwell (RS Batch or Factory Talk), Allen-Bradley, and Bosch/Rexroth programming.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD (or equivalent).
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel 30%-40%.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
