Job Summary:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. These systems include DCS, high-voltage rectifiers, PLCs, VFDs, motors, and field sensors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot, install, and calibrate equipment while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system, update documentation, and manage repair materials efficiently.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician/Instrumentation or 3-5 years of relevant experience; apprenticeship sponsorship available.
- Prior experience in heavy industry or chemical processing is preferred.
- Expertise in high-voltage work (up to 4K volts) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with NFPA Arc Flash protocols and IEEE standards is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and loop drawings is necessary.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
