We seek an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team at CivicMinds, Inc. This role requires maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and instrumentation systems.
About the Role:
- Work in a dynamic industrial environment with various systems, including DCS, high-voltage rectifiers, PLCs, VFDs, motors, and field sensors.
- Develop expertise in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, maintain accurate records, and update documentation.
Required Skills:
- Journeyman Electrician/Instrumentation or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in heavy industry or chemical processing.
- Extensive knowledge of high-voltage work (up to 4K volts).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with NFPA Arc Flash protocols and IEEE standards.
- Able to interpret electrical schematics and loop drawings.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
