Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for projects.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Oversee project scheduling using tools such as to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Review schematics and technical drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control practices within the construction industry is required.
- Previous experience in project scheduling is essential, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with software.
