What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Archaeologist position at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.?
Overview
As a Field Archaeologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, you’ll work on a variety of projects including deep testing, Phase II testing, Phase III mitigation, and Phase I surveys (pipeline, coal, road). You’ll have the opportunity to travel primarily in the Midwest with possibilities of covering the South and Southeast. The duration of the projects will vary from 1–7 days with some projects lasting from 20-30 days. If you enjoy the outdoors, have an inquisitive mind, and aren’t afraid to get dirty, then this is the opportunity for you. Pay and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
