Overview
As a Field Survey Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be part of a survey field crew performing work on topographic and boundary surveys, and construction stakeouts. You will perform land survey work through the application of surveying principles and practices and use of modern survey equipment. You will operate instrumentation, clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, record data, prepare sketches and maintain equipment as needed. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for utilizing surveying software applications to gather, retrieve and interpret important data, and performing basic survey computations. Ultimately, this position will provide a foundation for further professional development as a land surveyor.
Potential sign-on and relocation bonus, if applicable.
Qualifications
- 3 years related survey experience;
- Ability to operate standard survey equipment and possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions;
- Valid Driver's License.

The posting range for this position is between $47,693 - $65,556 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).
