Summary
Driving : No (However, the manager will ask that the candidates have their own transportation, they have run into that an issue previously where the temps didn't have reliable transportation which made call out more frequently.
Dress Code : Jeans cannot have holes, Polo shirts are appropriate, long or short sleeve is fine. No Tshirts

The contingent worker in this role will be responsible for assisting our day to day activities, from doing walking courier routes, help run mail through our postage machines, help with print jobs from loading copier machines with paper to binding any booklets, helping with mailing projects and anything else that may need to be done in an active print shop.
Looking for someone who is focused, able to multi task and to learn quickly.
They will be working with City departments so someone who is professional in a work environment.
This role will require pushing up to 400 Lbs on dollies and carts, lifting 50lbs, walking, standing, working with postage machines, copier machines, PCs,

Typically Required : -
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Requires valid state drivers license and driving record that meets company standards.
Requires experience in electronic communication devices and experience in a team environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Good customer service and communications skills
Ability to read map, follow written instructions and complete paperwork accurately; good reading comprehension - Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

May be required to lift up to 55 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Couriers spend most of their time alone, making deliveries, and usually are not closely supervised.
Those who deliver by bicycle must be physically fit and are exposed to all weather conditions, as well as to the many hazards associated with heavy traffic.
Car, van, and truck Couriers must sometimes carry heavy loads, either manually or with the aid of a hand truck.
They also deal with difficult parking situations, as well as traffic jams and road construction.
When in the office, typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level
