RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts geotechnical investigations and analysis to assess soil properties, stability, and foundation design for various projects.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop geotechnical engineering solutions that align with project objectives, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Prepares detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for geotechnical aspects of projects.
- Performs geotechnical field inspections, monitoring, and testing to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction quality.
- Liaises with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address geotechnical engineering-related inquiries, concerns, and challenges.
- Stays updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in geotechnical engineering.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, including foundation design, soil mechanics, slope stability analysis, and ground improvement techniques.
- Strong proficiency in relevant software and tools for geotechnical analysis and design (e.g., AutoCAD, Geo5, LPile, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in complex geotechnical situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
