What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Crew position at Civil Works Contracting LLC.?
Civil Works Contracting is looking for an experienced Working Utility Foreman, Pipe Layers, Operators, and Laborers.
The crew is responsible for:
1. Installing and Maintaining Utilities such as:
- Water & Sewer Lines: Laying and connecting pipes for municipal water and wastewater systems.
- Storm Drainage: Installing culverts, catch basins, and drainage systems to manage runoff.
2. Excavation & Trenching:
- Digging trenches for utility lines using excavators, trenchers, and backhoes.
- Shoring and securing trenches to prevent collapses.
3. Safety & Compliance:
- Following OSHA trenching and excavation safety standards.
- Coordinating with local municipalities and utility companies to avoid hitting existing infrastructure.
- Ensuring proper backfilling and compaction after installation.
Must have clean driving record.
The pay range is dependent on experience.
