Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including working with potential clients, contractors, and governmental agencies
- Develop and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and how Civilitude can provide solutions
- Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates and project timelines, to prospective clients
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and potential areas for business growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and implement business development strategies and metrics for success
- Participate in industry networking events, conferences, and community engagements to enhance Civilitude's profile in the industry
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to align business strategies with operational capabilities
- Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus
- 5 years of experience in business development within the engineering, construction, or architectural industries
- Proven track record of successfully securing new business and managing client relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
- Familiarity with civil engineering practices and the infrastructure industry is preferred
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
