Description
We are seeking an experienced, outgoing Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care in a home with both a client and a family member. The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, flexibility, and experience in live-in caregiving. You will assist with daily activities, promote the client’s well-being, and maintain a positive environment for the household while respecting privacy and boundaries.

Reports to Supervisor.
Responsibilities/Activities
Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including:
- Bathing - Shaving - Ambulation
- Mouth care - Dressing - Exercise
- Hair care - Feeding - Toileting
- Nail care - Positioning - Medication reminding
- Skin care - Transferring -Companionship
Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Mobility Assistance: Help clients move around safely, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, assisting with walking, or positioning them for comfort.
Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications as directed by the client's healthcare provider and ensure timely medication reminders.
Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a comfortable and clean living environment.
Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and outings to improve their quality of life.
Monitoring Health Conditions: Observe changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition and report any concerns to family members or the supervising healthcare team.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences, ensuring meals are safe and appealing.
Safety & Supervision: Ensure the safety of the client by monitoring their environment and providing supervision as necessary to prevent falls or accidents.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, medication schedules, and any observations of the client’s well-being.
Collaboration with Family: Communicate with family members regarding changes in the client’s condition and ensure they are informed about care plans and routines.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare is required.
Certification: Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications/Education
Certification in Personal Care Preferred
Current driver’s license
