Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team at Civility Home Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes or residential facilities. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance with daily activities.
Duties
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Support patients with mobility assistance and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients
Skills
- Experience in memory care, dementia care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home health settings
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals in need
