Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs, including those requiring hospice care or direct support.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Experience
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to be around a house cat
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques is essential.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- Vehicle required for household errands
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role.
