What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Civita Care Center at West River?
We are currently seeking an outgoing, reliable individual to join our Housekeeping team! Per Diem (As Needed)
Shift Differentials
Weekend Differentials for all shifts.
Job Description:
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions
- Mus be able to follow instructions
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public
- Must maintain the use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas in the facility
- Must be willing to work amicably with other personnel
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
- Must be able to communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a long-term care facility preferred but not required
Proof of COVID Vaccination is required to be eligible for this position.
