Job Profile
As an Asst. Food & Beverage Director you will be responsible for:
- Resident satisfaction with front of house (FOH) food & beverage operations, providing
supervision and guidance to these F&B employees. - Departmental leadership and management in partnership with and in the absence of the Food &
Beverage Director - Front of house staff hiring, training, oversight, and retention.
- Ensuring departmental compliance with preparation and maintenance of required records, reports and paperwork regarding food & beverage operations.
- Maintaining dining room & service area(s) organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
Job Requirements
- Associates degree in a related field preferred
- Experience of 1-3 years or more in a commercial/retail kitchen or foodservice operation
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and state officials/surveyors. Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
