We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Civil Engineer at CiviTronix, you will play a key role in supporting the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, and transportation infrastructure.
- Support senior engineers in the preparation of project plans, technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform site inspections and assist in data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Assist with project management tasks, including coordinating schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or ability to obtain within a year of employment.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including site design, stormwater management, and transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., local and state environmental regulations, AASHTO guidelines).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with stormwater management systems and environmental engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of GIS or other relevant engineering software.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering.
