About The Strategic Contracts Department
Our newly created Strategic Contracts department is a cornerstone of CJ's growth and partnership strategy, driving value creation through sophisticated contract negotiations. Our team balances speed-to-market with risk management while building trust-based relationships with clients, prospects, and partners. We lead complex negotiations that accelerate revenue growth, develop innovative contract solutions, and collaborate closely with Sales, Client Development, Legal, and Privacy teams. The department maintains high standards of professional integrity while focusing on creating sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships.
As a Strategic Contracts Coordinator, you will support complex contract negotiations and contribute to overall contract health across our client and partner portfolio. You will serve as the team's coordinator for information security requirements, balancing the collection, documentation, and communication of security assessments and requirements between clients, internal privacy teams, and other stakeholders. This role combines detailed contract analysis with specialized knowledge in performance marketing and commerce, working closely with senior team members, client procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure thorough and compliant agreements.

Compensation Range: $59,850.00 - $86,850.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 4/15/25.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Support contract negotiations and review processes, ensuring alignment with company standards
- Coordinate with corporate InfoSec, Privacy, and Legal teams to gather and document security requirements and respond to client inquiries
- Track and manage timelines for Infosec and Privacy deliverables and requirement updates
- Maintain clear communication channels between stakeholders regarding security requirements and status
- Support Strategic Contract VPs in maintaining healthy client and partner agreements
- Track upcoming renewals and communicate to Strategic Contract VPs
- Review and validate performance marketing and commercial terms in partnership agreements
- Track contract status and maintain accurate records of negotiations and agreements
- Maintain trackers and Salesforce tools with contract and client detail updates
- Prepare contract summaries and analysis reports for senior management
- Assist in maintaining consistent contract standards across the portfolio
- Negotiate simple agreements with clients and partners
- Serve as the point person for coordinating security requirement responses across teams
What we look for:
- 2-3 years of experience in contract management or experience with performance marketing/digital commerce contracts
- Familiarity with basic information security concepts and terminology
- A strong interest in privacy and infosec matters
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Maturity and ability to approach tense conversations in a professional manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
