FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER

**EXPERIENCE** - To hold this position you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience either in a Service Manager role or Operations Manager role in Pest Control.

Uon hiring you will be given our technician employee manual that describes the specifics of each service we provide and strategy for insect, mosquito, rodent, and wildlife removal. You will also be provided with our sales manual to further educate you on what our approach is. We are not a company who looks to fly in and out of homes and businesses as quickly as possible. We look to provide the BEST service for our clients. Both in service and in education.

Skills necessary to fill this position:

• Proficiency in pest control techniques and knowledge of various pests and their behaviors.
• Familiarity with sprayers, dusters, fogging units, bee poles, rodent stations and other equipment used in pest control operations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with field technicians and office staff. Ability to be a disciplinarian when need be.
• Ability to diffuse hostile situations between homeowner/business owners and technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within budgets and read (understand) financial docs
• Basic computer knowledge. Ability to use google docs, forms, sheets. Also microsoft word and excel.

Prioritized responsibilities per category:

1) Daily field operations and technician support

• Daily evaluation and posting of tech work (google forms)
• Monitoring of previous days "inspections", "Bids", etc. to either build work for or assign to proper sales or management personnel.
• Communication with technicians in field when necessary
• Taking incoming phone calls regarding "touch up" or "follow up" services and scheduling them.
• Documenting of technician errors
• Ensuring technicians have the proper materials needed (and specialty items) for services done that day or in the next few work days
• Assist in Monitoring of schedule to ensure technicians are on-time
• Ability to go out in field if services need to be completed (if can't move to other technicians or QC technician is unavailableO
• Sales calls as needed

2) Warehouse Management & Vehicle management

• Responsible for inventory orders for warehouse and disbursement to technicians
• Cleanliness and organization of warehouse
• Oversight of wildlife traps and exterior rodent station totals
• Weekly inspection of trucks for damage and organization/cleanliness of trucks
• Updating of vehicle maintenance in software and filing of paperwork
• Use of GPS software
• Communication with repair shops, etc. on vehicles that are getting repaired (and transportation for vehicles)
• Proper documentation and follow up for speciality equipment, materials taken out of the warehouse to be returned.
• Checking out of new uniforms, etc.
• Ability to assist in repair of equipment

3) Training and Development

• Work in conjunction with QC / Lead trainer for training and development of new hires
• Oversite of "Training Checklist" for new hires
• Scheduling & Overview of monthly "ongoing training" sessions
• Scheduling of technician reviews (Quarterly) or sooner if having problems consistently in field.

4) Adminstrative and Reporting Tasks:

• Assist in technician KPI metric reports
• Running "Touch up" (retreat) reports for techs
• Budget vs. Actual numbers for COGS
• Assist in contract building and follow up
• Assist in scheduling maintenenance customers
• Sales as needed
• Tasks assigned to you by owner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
