Tax Preparer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations.

Duties

• Prepare accurate and timely federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze financial data to identify potential deductions and credits.
• Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide clients with guidance on tax-related matters, including financial sales strategies.
• Utilize financial software and accounting software to streamline the preparation process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in resolving any issues or inquiries related to their tax filings.
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Experience in sales or financial sales is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using various financial software and accounting software tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
