What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server, full-time position at CJE SeniorLife Brand?
Shift
11:00 am to 7:30 pm, rotating weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies with all state and local health codes for food handling.
- Adheres to the personal hygiene policy.
- Attends all required training, in services, and staff meetings.
- Meets all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and coworkers.
- Follows safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to CJE SeniorLife’s accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policies.
- Affects budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Accepts food orders, communicates to kitchen, and delivers food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with CJE SeniorLife policies, procedures and standards.
- Ensures resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
- Collaborates with all staff to ensure timely room service according to CJE SeniorLife Tray Service/Pick Up and related policies.
- Completes assigned side work and checks out with Manager at completion of shift.
- Maintains clean and sanitary conditions of work areas, china, and equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
