About This Position:
Position dedicated to direct supervision and care of adolescent males living in a therapeutic group home. Works under the direction of Residential Supervisor to carry out daily schedules, implement behavior management and treatment plans, and support the physical care of resident’s while being sensitive to unique clinical issues such as mental status changes, suicidal ideation/gestures, aggressive responses, medication responses, positive and negative family interactions, and increased psychiatric symptoms. Staff will create, maintain, and ensure a safe environment for residents at home and in the community.

- Ensures physical safety of youth and provides crisis intervention
- Remains awake and alert at all times
- Maintains a professional relationship with youth and promotes healthy relationships
- Plans and carries out organized daily activities
- Provides information and resources to residents and families
- Following established routines, schedules, and structure, like wake up and bedtimes, and transition to school
- Recording observations and maintaining records and reports, daily documentation and logs
- Monitoring access to and ensuring personal hygiene of youths, and maintenance/upkeep of bedrooms
- Monitoring and reporting healthcare needs or concerns, and ensuring compliance with daily medication regimen through support, encouragement, and self-care education
- Ensuring living spaces are organized, clean, safe and free from hazards
- May provide transportation to adolescents and families as programmatic needs dictate
- Focus on Client Needs: Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations within program parameters
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00pm-12:00am
- Total 40 hours per week
- $20.80per hour
- Overtime/ time and a half eligible
- Associate’s Degree or 60 completed college credits–Required
- Valid driver’s license to utilize company-provided vehicle–Required
