Job Description:
The English and Spanish Speaking MDFT Therapist Assistant is responsible for all case management services involving active and aftercare MDFT cases. Therapist Assistants must be able to establish a trusting and supportive relationship with family members through direct contact in the context of home visits, phone contacts, and assistance in times of crisis. These services can include but are not limited to accompanying parents to appointments as needed, work as part of the treatment team, and interact with other service providers as appropriate.

Job Description:
The English and Spanish Speaking MDFT Therapist Assistant is responsible for all case management services involving active and aftercare MDFT cases. - Read, write, and verbally communicate with English and Spanish speaking clients and their families
- Translate English and Spanish paperwork and phone calls
- Provide all case management services to MDFT clients from a strength-based perspective
- Work in close alliance with MDFT Therapists
- Perform GAIN assessments and process data to be used to effectively plan for appropriate services
- Develop community network of support services in Greater Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington
- Participate in all MDFT training as necessary
- Be accessible for crisis services on a daily basis
- Ability toprofessionally communicate in both Spanish and English - Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/ or experience working with families- Required
- Ability to function independently

- Full-Time 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday flexible hours to meet client needs
- $44,000 per year salary
