An On-Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing activities at project site. Their role ensures the project runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and adheres to safety and quality standards. Here's a general description of the position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Directly supervise and manage workers, contractors, and subcontractors on site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all workers are adhering to safety standards, regulations, and site-specific procedures.
- Project Coordination: Monitor the progress of the project, ensuring that timelines are followed and materials are available for uninterrupted work.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure work is performed to quality standards and complies with project specifications.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project, providing timely solutions to maintain workflow.
- Reporting: Report on daily activities, progress, and any challenges to higher management, including scheduling updates and any material needs.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work completed, daily logs, and incident reports.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication between project managers, workers, and any other stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams and maintain a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Deep understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

- Experience: Typically requires several years of experience, but CJS will train to its expectations.
