We’re located in Hinkley, CA, near Barstow in Southern California, and supply rock and sand products to customers throughout the High Desert. Lynx Cat Mountain Quarry is a fully SMARA-permitted and MSHA-compliant quarry operation.

Job Description:
Lynx Cat Mountain Quarry is seeking an experienced working foreman with a solid background in rock plant operations. We need an experienced foreman to oversee daily operations, production efficiency, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rock quarry management, heavy equipment operations, safety compliance, and production optimization. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive performance while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As Plant Foreman, you will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring efficient drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and loadout operations. You will be responsible for enforcing MSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment with zero violations. Leading a team of equipment operators, maintenance personnel, and plant laborers, you will focus on workforce development and operational effectiveness. You will monitor production levels, improve equipment efficiency, and maintain material quality to meet customer demands. Coordinating with the maintenance team will be essential to ensure timely repairs and minimizing plant downtime. You will also track operational costs and daily production.

Qualifications:

· 5 years of experience in rock quarry operations or aggregate production management

· Strong knowledge of crushing, screening, and material handling processes

· Familiarity with MSHA regulations and safety compliance standards

· Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development and performance management

· Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance efforts

· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to optimize operational efficiency

· Strong communication and organizational skills to manage operations effectively

• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
