Job Summary And Qualifications
Demonstrates competency in scrubbing as it relates to unit scope of care including aseptic technique.
Plans and provides equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs; promotes cost containment
While delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital.
Works as a member of the Surgical Services Team to promote teamwork.
Pursues own professional growth through continuing education and inservices.
Demonstrates flexibility in unit to perform other tasks that may be assigned.
Works assigned hours.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
Required – High school graduate. Graduate of Surgical Technology Program
Required – BLS Certification.
Experience:
Preferred – Minimum One Year As a Surgical Technologist.
Licensure:
Required –Virginia license as a Certified Surgical Technologist
