Job Summary
Travel RN - Orthopedic Joint Spine Unit: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Orthopedic Joint Spine unit at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. As a Travel RN, you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on post-operative orthopedic patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing orthopedic procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Manage post-operative pain and symptoms effectively
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- BLS certification is required
- Experience working with post-operative patients is necessary
- Able to work three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required
Unit Information
The Orthopedic Joint Spine unit has 25 beds with patient ratios of 5/6 :1. The unit is equipped with general nursing equipment for med-surg patients, including those undergoing post-op hip, knee, spine, and other orthopedic procedures.
