Civil 3D Technician at CK Civil Engineering
This role provides the opportunity to work hands-on with subdivision, large-scale development, and municipal infrastructure projects, building your technical skills while being part of a close-knit and innovative team.
The Civil 3D Technician will support the design of residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and municipal street improvements. Tasks include developing site layouts, grading and drainage plans, paving and utility designs, and demolition plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a small team of professionals to support design services.
- Develop detailed plans and construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with CK Civil Engineering's quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of civil standards and tools, including training and procurement.
Technical Duties:
- Complete drawings accurately based on markups and detailed instructions.
- Organize drawing structures and files according to company standards.
- Adhere to layering standards, line types, and plot styles.
- Generate plan and profile drawings for roadways and utility networks.
- Utilize gravity and pressure pipe networks in Civil 3D for subdivision and street designs.
- Develop cross-sections, calculate volumes, and prepare quantity estimates.
- Interpret as-built drawings and develop existing condition models.
- Generate coordinates and boundary details, incorporating survey information.
- Maintain design consistency and produce record drawings.

Requirements:
