About the Assistant Superintendent Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team at CK Commercial. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing project plans, including logistics/phasing plans and workforce projections.
- Coordinating with project managers and teams to plan and sequence work activities.
- Managing project budgets and assisting in change order management.
- Scheduling testing and inspections requirements and resolving issues.
- Preparing and implementing project QC plans and monitoring document controls.
- Assisting with punch list and warranty processes.
- Communicating risk mitigation plans to the team.
- Implementing CK's safety program and promoting a safe work environment.
- Managing incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up.
About You:
- You have 0-3 years of experience in construction.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or commensurate experience.
- You have experience managing processes to achieve results.
- You possess First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to complete within the first 180 days of employment).
- You have knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- You have expressed interest in industry trends and innovations.
- You have strong self-motivation and work ethic, as well as humility.
- You demonstrate Emotional Intelligence, knowing how to work with others to achieve a common goal.
- You have excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task.
- You can read and interpret construction documents with assistance, including contracts, plans, and specs.
- You have acute attention to detail.
