Warehouse and Parts Coordinator
As an HVAC Warehouse and Parts Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our HVAC parts inventory and HVAC Warehouse Coordination.
Responsibilities
Parts Inventory Management:
- Coordinate the procurement of HVAC parts, ensuring timely and accurate ordering from suppliers.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments, verifying accuracy and quality.
- Maintain an organized parts storage area, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.
- Regularly conduct inventory counts and reconcile physical counts with computerized inventory records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or overstock situations promptly.
Parts Distribution and Tracking:
- Coordinate the distribution of HVAC parts to technicians, ensuring the right parts are delivered in a timely manner.
- Maintain a tracking system to monitor the movement of parts within the organization.
- Collaborate with the Service Department to anticipate parts needs and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Provide assistance to technicians in locating and retrieving the required parts.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Generate regular reports on parts inventory levels, usage, and trends.
- Assist in analyzing data to identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to update and maintain supplier information, pricing, and product specifications.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality concerns.
- Collaborate with the Service Departments and other relevant stakeholders to optimize parts management processes.
- Communicate effectively with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any parts-related queries or concerns.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and storing HVAC parts.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements related to HVAC parts management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and organizational requirements, such as warranty claims and return policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in supply chain management or inventory control is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse and parts management, inventory control, or a similar role, preferably in an HVAC or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC parts and their applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and precision in maintaining records and managing inventory.
- Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts as required up to 50 lbs
- Forklift Certified or ability to obtain certification
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to pass Criminal Background and Drug Test
