What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at CK Newberry, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain all types of equipment to perform assigned tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and ensure that the equipment is properly maintained
- Maintain all paperwork associated with assigned tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that all assigned tasks are performed in an ethical and legal manner
- Participate in daily and weekly JSA tailgate meetings
- Ensure that the company’s policies and procedures are followed
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Pay may vary depending on experience
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Have a valid drivers license
- Must be willing to travel
- Have at least one year of operating experience
- Be able to pass drug test and physical.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 per week
