CK Power is looking for an Inside Parts Sales Specialist at our St. Louis, MO location. The Inside Parts Sales Specialist is more than your average salesperson. You’ll proactively engage with customers to anticipate and prepare for short- and long-term needs, providing a collaborative partnership and the highest level of customer service.
What You'll Do:
- To ensure the highest level of customer service, you’ll proactively contact customer accounts and establish rapport with key customer contacts to understand short- and long-term parts needs.
- All quoting, research, and pricing of parts.
- Research, locate the best source, and order parts to ensure timely and accurate acquisition of needed parts.
- Create sales and purchase orders for multiple customers and vendors.
- In this fast-paced world, you’ll follow up to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Provide input on parts inventory as it pertains to which items to stock, quantity, and location.
- May enter credit memos.
- Enter parts on service jobs in computer system when needed.
What You'll Need:
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to problem-solve and self-manage.
- Results-driven attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude in automotive, diesel, industrial, or commercial units.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn enterprise resource planning (ERP), parts, purchase order, and invoicing computer systems.
What Helps:
- Sales experience in automotive, diesel, industrial, or commercial equipment preferred.
- Relevant certifications, training, or education is bonus.
