The Specialty Gas Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the growth of Specialty Gases and Products to prospective customers while working to maintain existing business. The individual will accomplish this primarily through direct sales and working directly with account managers. The Specialty Gas Sales Specialists will be directly responsible for achieving sales growth targets and assisting in the development of CK Supply's Specialty Gas Product offering.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Driving Specialty Gas sales through identification of key growth markets including Life Science, Energy and Chemical, Research Laboratories, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage and / or products and associated
targets. Development and execution of a strategy to capture that growth.
• Providing training for account managers expanding their knowledge base of specialty gases and where and how they are used by our customers.
• Supporting account managers to drive the growth of Specialty Gas sales within the account managers assigned portfolio.
• Maintaining solid working relationships with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and other Specialists.
• The individual should have demonstrated the ability to secure customer business long-term utilizing Product Supply Agreements and will work with account managers to sign new business and re-sign existing customers to Product Supply Agreements.
• Specialty Gas Sales Specialist will work to identify and recommend to CK Supply's management team the best vendors based upon quality, reliability, and costs.
• Utilizing internal resources to provide customers with engineering, technical support, training, and service for all their Specialty Gas needs.
• The individual must be a continual learner and will work to upgrade selling skill and increase technical/product knowledge through required training and self-directed research and learning.
• Complete and turn in sales-related paperwork, including call reports, month- end reports, reads and responds to email and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Special projects and other duties as necessary
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree or technical degree
• At least 2 years of sales experience required, 5 years preferred
• Industry knowledge preferred
• Ability to navigate and maintain good relationships with customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Chemical knowledge preferred
• Must have a good driving record exhibited by state MVR reports.
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks, as well as with a team to ensure the success of the department.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Standing, sitting and/or walking up to 8 hours per day
• Moderate deviation in wrist position
• Both handedness 70%-100% job cycle time
• Moderate visual depth perception
• Slight noise
• Lifting, pushing, or pulling items up to and greater than 60 pounds with good body mechanics and with designated equipment
