This position is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. Provides support and assistance to the production plant.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the plant is fully operational during normal working hours
• Coordinate with the Director of Manufacturing in order to conduct interview, hire employees, issue corrective actions and execute performance reviews for the GCT Plant employees
• Manage, train, and develop all employees assigned to the GCT Plant
• Become a qualified tester in all departments to fill in when needed
• Schedule and communicate production responsibilities for testing and fuel gas filling
• Implement and monitor all required DOT, OSHA and FDA regulations while maintaining proper documentation
• Coordinate shipments to and from customers
• Enter customer orders and assist with billing as needed
• Maintain propane and propylene inventory control
• Communicate with the Director of Manufacturing regarding production schedule and daily activities
• Conduct regular safety meetings and monitor employees to ensure work is performed safely
• Communicate with the Maintenance Department for any building or equipment repairs as needed
• Complete monthly cycle counts and maintain proper inventory levels for production items
• Ensure A/R is within the expected parameters
• Comply with all administrative guidelines for completing required reports in a timely manner
• Attend and participate in company meetings or meetings on behalf of the company as needed
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
• Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
• Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in management or similar field, or equivalent experience
• Must be able to work independently and have the ability to establish efficient work schedules
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously
• Ability to reach operation and distribution decisions based on logical and analytical reasoning ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to delegate and monitor assigned tasks to completion
• Willingness to provide feedback and corrective action to employees as needed
• Must possess a desire to continually learn new skills and grow as a manager
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while leading all levels of the organization
• Ability to identify workflow discrepancies, errors or problems and take needed corrective action
• Vision is correctable to within normal range for completion of reports
• Must possess the ability to move or lift products and materials of varied sizes and weights, sometimes in excess of 75 pounds
• Capable of working in diverse and often times unpleasant weather conditions.
• Position requires bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing
• Must have ability to operate all necessary equipment
