We are a private company in the Aerospace industry located in Camarillo, CA . Developing and producing wiring testing system for qualifying the interconnection integrity of aerospace products, military systems. This is a 100% on-site job. US citizen only .
Responsibilities
- Design wire harness testing systems per customer specifications.
- Create 3D models with appropriate design intent and provide accurate, detailed 2D drawings on mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks .
- Create electrical schematics, interconnect diagrams, and wire harnesses using Draftsight .
- Knowledge of test equipment and tool design.
- Understand various manufacturing process in order to create cost effective functional parts.
- Understand basic principals of GD&T and be able to apply them to drawings for manufacturing.
- Responsible for BOM creation and sourcing customer specified components.
- Use 3D printing software for prototyping new designs.
